| Описание: | The article examines a number of socio-demographic factors that influence the investment climate of the Republic of Belarus. The authors analyzed: changes in the average life expectancy of the population and the retirement age, the level of educational and medical services, the dynamics of unemployment and labor migration, as well as the ethnic and religious composition of the population. The identified trends allowed dividing all the factors into two groups, depending on the direction of their impact on the investment climate. The positive impact is exerted by: increasing life expectancy, relatively efficient education and health care systems, low levels of official unemployment, lack of religious and ethnic conflicts. The negative factors include concealed unemployment and the outflow of qualified personnel abroad. |
